5 Years and Counting – Go With Your Gutt!
So a little over 5 years ago I had a big decision to make in my career. I had multiple offers on the table. A few of them had different things to offer. Some had more money but less benefits. One was a good opportunity but my gut told me it wasn't the place where I needed to be. I knew I needed to make a change in my career because it didn't have much to offer. It was a big company but I didn't see any career focus within the company at all. The management was lacking direction, functionality and more. There were more questions to ask.
So its getting to that time of year again for the annual Microsoft Ignite Conference. This is a conference that use to be called the Microsoft SharePoint Conference but in my opinion they need to bring back. Microsoft Ignite is the One All conference where they bring all the Products together in one conference. This year Microsoft is bring SharePoint to the front of all the Products. It is pricey and is more of a training than a business impact in my opininon. In the coming weeks I will do my write up of what to expect things to do and much much more.
SharePoint 2016 Certificate Errors and Config
While working with a SharePoint 2013 environment I experienced slow page load times and poor search performance. After initial page loads performance was fine for several minutes before the performance issue returned.
SharePoint 2016 Beta 2
SharePoint 2016 Beta 2 will be released before the end of November, and should be out before US Thanksgiving (November 26). It will be 99 percent feature complete, so we should get a better view of what SharePoint 2016 RTM will actually look like. Once it has been released expect to see an overview and demo from me once again.
Ignite 2016 Postponed think Again its been Moved
So there is a lot of buzz going around with Ignite being cancelled in Chicago. Well that's not the case at all. Ignite has been postponed to a later date and Chicago could not handle the amount of people the time of year that Microsoft decided the time was right to have the conference. So where is it going to be? Hotlanta yes that's right its going to be in Atlanta GA. This is going to be a must attend for all the Microsoft Stack Professionals out there.

Whether you are looking at a new install, migration, information about it, or just the new features this is a must see. Its a new session for me as I have only given it once so it should not only be fun, informative but you will be challenged learn more in one hour then you prolly have ever wanted but that is a good thing.
So many of you are aware that Microsoft has decided to get rid of the Individual Product Line Conferences such as The SharePoint Conference, Technet, SQL Server Conference, Lync Conference and many more. They have rolled it in a Take All conference called Microsoft Ignite. Ignite will be coming to the Great City of Chicago in early May. I have the privelage of attending this conference to be able to not only learn a ton, network with a lot of people and much more.
SharePoint Baltiomre User Group Presentation
First and foremost I want to thank all who attended my Presentation titled , "Corraleation or Bust" The Session was about troubleshooting SharePoint 2010 and 2013 from a Admin Perspective. In today's day and age technology is changing by the minute. User adoption is all about speed, scalability, and functionality. Picking the right Architecture for SharePoint is vital to make this happen. You may be asking yourself about now I thought there was only one type of Architecture for SharePoint. Prior to SharePoint 2013 that use to be the case. With the new functionality of Cross Farm Deployments you can now have multiple farms in multiple locations that meet the needs of the system
